DIGILOGIC, the first pan-European and African Digital Innovation Hub focused on smart logistics, has received EU1.9 million from the European Commission.

DIGILOGIC, a three-year Horizon 2020 mission to spice up cooperation and long-term, sustainable collaborations between European and African Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs), has acquired EUR 1.9 million from the European Fee, paving the best way for innovators, startups, and SMEs to collectively construct good logistics options in shut collaboration with industries and traders.

The DIGILOGIC mission is being carried out by a consortium that features three DIHs in Europe: Digital Hub Logistics Dortmund (Germany), VTT (Finland), and Friuli Innovazione (Italy); two DIHs in Africa: MEST (Ghana) and BongoHive (Zambia); system change facilitator Endeva (Germany); and a SME prototype (Nigeria).

By the implementation of a dynamic and impactful information switch course of and a targe, these companions will foster the adoption of rising applied sciences equivalent to Cloud Computing, Large Information, Augmented and Digital Actuality, Machine Studying, Blockchain, Synthetic Intelligence (AI), Good Units, Web of Issues (IoT), and Clever Transport Techniques (ITS) for good logistics options.
