Elon Musk has found a new CEO to run Twitter: Linda Yaccarino.
She’s the (former) head of advertising at NBCUniversal and has reportedly been confirmed to become the next chief executive of Twitter.
Yaccarino is a veteran media executive who has been instrumental in launching NBC’s streaming service Peacock and advocating for better ways to measure the effectiveness of advertising.
Musk announced on Thursday via a tweet that the new CEO for Twitter will start in six weeks.
He also said that he will transition to being the executive chair and chief technology officer of Twitter, overseeing product, software, and system operations.
