WanaData Fellowship For Women Data Journalists

In light of the GMMP 2020 report, which highlights, among other things, the underrepresentation of women, voices for women, and gender issues in mainstream media, Code for Africa created the WanaData fellowship to support journalists with funding as they research and amplify the findings.

This fellowship, which will be revealed during the prestigious AIJC 2021 conference, is aimed at recruiting women for study in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, and South Africa.
