YouthHubAfrica is one of Africa’s leading NGOs, providing platforms for young people to contribute to sustainable development and collaborate in creative and special ways. The Office Assistant will assist the field officer in coordinating the activities of the Field Office in Ebonyi State.
General Functions.
The Office Assistant (Ebonyi State)’s primary function is to maintain a clean and healthy environment and to provide program and administrative support at the field office in Ebonyi State.
Main duties and responsibilities will be:
Manage the Front Desk and provide receptionist services:
Perform general clerical duties to include photocopying, mailing and filing.
Ensures that the office environment is thoroughly cleaned and made conducive for staff to carry out their duties.
Monitor and maintain office supply inventory and stock cleaning materials and stationeries.
Provide logistics support for workshops, training and meetings.
Operate office equipment and assist staff with photocopying and binding of documents as needed.
Assume dispatch duties and perform errands that assist daily functions as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
OND/HND/ BSc in any relevant field.
Good oral and written English.
Minimum 1 year of work experience.
Previous administrative experience in an office setting will be an advantage.
Strong computer and internet skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel and other commonly used software.
Strong organizational skills, record keeping, and attention to detail.
Displays maturity, discretion, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and manage workload.
