Zuri Health, a startup based in Kenya, has raised additional funding.

In Kenya, Zuri Health has acquired further investment from Five35 Ventures. This additional funding will empower the expansion of its innovative healthcare platform, thereby assisting more individuals.

Five35 Ventures, an initial-phase venture capital firm, focuses on backing entrepreneurs who concentrate on women-oriented enterprises in diverse sectors. They aim to tackle pressing issues across the entire continent.

In January 2021, Zuri Health introduced a digital, mobile-first, on-demand healthcare platform, allowing patients to easily access medical care from licensed healthcare providers based on accessibility, geography, and specialisation.

Titilola Olaolu-Hassan, the co-founder of Zuri Health, expressed delight in receiving the support of Five35 Ventures as they endeavour to revolutionise healthcare. The investment will play a crucial role in scaling their platform and extending their innovative health services to a broader audience in need. They are confident in their abilities to change how healthcare is accessible and experienced globally with the support of Five35 Ventures.

Following a successful launch in Kenya, Zuri Health expanded its operations to other African countries, including Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia.
